Education

Today, we had a short discussion of of the Sun Analogy, the Line Analogy and how smashing them together came to make the Allegory of the Cave. How does analogies and the Allegory connect to the idea of education having been a wanted experience instead of a forced experienced? Be sure to explain by connecting back to the different aspects of the analogies and the Allegory.

The Sun analogy and the line analogy comes together to reveal how many people stay in the dark (cave) and accept one character trait (the shadow) as the truth rather than the actual thing.Sometimes to make people see the truth, we must force them out of the dark cave and look at the sun and its light, which reals all the truth and knowledge. An wanted experience would be where one would want to see and learn the truth rather then predict based on mindless patterns of shadows, which can disordered anytime. Not everyone is going to want to see the truth, because of traditions, religion, and even pride of being "right" holds them back. Therefore, we must drag some if urgent, or else gradually make them see step, by step and make them understand step by step.
